Ocean Moon Rounds

These earrings were made out of recycled urban wood from fallen street trees in California.

The rounds are made out of Spalted Ficus and the moons are made out of black walnut.

Spalting in wood happens when a fungus penetrates through a tree which changes the color of the natural wood. Sometimes the spalting leaves behind black barrier lines, blotches of fuchsia, burnt amber, and in this case a denim color.

These earrings are made to order. Please allow seven to ten business days for completion and shipping. The product you receive will be made out of the same log as the product photographed and will differ slightly as no two earrings are the same.
